West Jackson Corners
The people of the East Shelby Church have made a village in miniature across the road from the church. Twice a year the village becomes a backdrop for historical displays put on by the people of the church. The village includes a working blacksmith shop, a wood worker's shop, a barn, a sewing shop and a mill with a water wheel fed by a sluiceway.
You will see displays of corn husk dolls, homemade ice cream, buttermaking, goatmilking, horse rides and outdoor cooking. A troop of actors will hold a town meeting and concerts of old-fashioned music are featured throughout the day.
