Pastor Steven Enoch, founder and director of the AMEO, has sent us this child's picture and story:
Pastor Steven S. Enoch
Anna M. Enoch Orphanage Mission
I am sending you the pictures of two brothers, Genesis Flomo in orange Tee-shirt and Christian Flomo is in Gray T-shirt both from Gepo, Nimba County. They were abandoned by their mother and both of them were living with the father's mother who died after a short period of illness. They are in Kindergarten One and ABC. Christian is 9 years old while Genesis is 7 years old. We need to pray for them to get a good education as we reach them to serve the Lord. They are memorizing Bible verses now.
Please pray with us for Scholarship for our children who have completed the High School to be able to continue their education. We just graduated three girls, Lydia David, Madaweh Myers and Vivian Taylor. The Lydia who Dux the class wants to be a Nurse, while Madaweh who took the second page wants to be a Nurse and a Journalist. Vivian wants to be an Accountant. Please remember them in your prayers. Th
The first graduates are here praying for help to go to College.
Thank you for all your prayers and support to us and our kids. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless you all in Jesus name.
The Anna M Enoch Orphanage
Liberia, West Africa
One of the things we do here in East Shelby is run a a 'cans-for-kids' program.
Folks bring in their clean returnable bottles, and one of the local businesses gives us 6 cents (not 5!) as a deposit return.
The money collected is sent to the orphanage to help provide food, shelter, and education for these children.
The Anna M Enoch Orphanage currently supports 72 children.
